The past 25 years, Drainage Services Department (DSD) provides the world class services on sewage and rainfall treatment which does try the best to service Hong Kong Citizen, to upgrade the Living standard and improve the environments. The DSD open day has been held on the following 11^th and 12^th at Shatin Sewage Treatment Works. All of the citizens would travel the whole works as well as recognize more and more major sewerage and Drainage projects of DSD. Also, we could recall the stories of the past 25 years which is in the same pace with Hong Kong development. 

Activities as Below:

Major Attractions: Visitors may tour around the sewage treatment works to understand more about its operation, We encourage students to join the tours which are beneficial for their learning in liberal/ general study. 

Game Booth：More than 10game booths themed with sewage treatment, flood prevention, greening work and caverns development will be set up.

Family Planting Corner：DSD joins hands with the public to beautify the sewage treatment works. About 2,500 seedlings will be provided to the public for planting at the sewage treatment works.

Entertainment Performance：Public can enjoy a variety of cultural performances acted by different communities.

Panels and Models Display: Around 100 panels would be displayed to provide detailed information of different projects. Physical models are used to introduce some of the key projects.

Snack Zone: Free snacks (popcorn) will be provided.
