This summer, Ani-com & Games Hong Kong (ACGHK) is entering to its 16th edition which will be held on 25th to 29th July at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The organizer announced that the total floor area of the exhibition will break the previous record and marks the largest ACGHK ever.

ACGHK have been accompanied for ani-com & game fans in the last 15 summers. In response to fans’ support, the organizer will arrange extra exhibition hall, as well as LEGO, Xbox, Gundam and Hot Toys, with the renowned electronic games manufacturer, Sony Computer Entertainment Hong Kong Limited (SCEH), will first landing on ACGHK. There is no doubt that ACGHK2014 will become the most eye-catching event in this summer, provide brilliant activities and limited-edition products to all comics lovers.

1^st Edition Doujinshi Event

In order to enhance the development of local creative culture, the organizer will held the first edition of Creative Paradise (CP01) on 26th to 27th July which provide a platform for local professional and amateur Doujin to exhibit their work. The organizer invited China and Japan’s Doujin to join CP01 and held a forum to exchange experience. CP01’s concept is same as Japan’s Comic Market that creates Hong Kong’s Doujinshi culture. Fans must not miss such carnival event!

Signature Local Classic Comic Characters 

This year marks the 25th anniversary of the renowned comic story by Famous Comics Writer, Mr. Ma Wing-Shing: “Fung Wan”, from which has first published since 1989. The Organizer is delighted to invite two signature characters: Nip Fung and Bou Ging Wan as the ambassadors of ACGHK2014, to ignite the flame of Hong Kong comics industry.

ACGHK2014 Show Highlight

As usual, a series of exciting competitions and shows will be held during the ACGHK2014, The first edition of Doujinshi event – “Creative Paradise”, is based on the spirit of Japan Comic Market and provide an interchanging platform for Doujin. It aims to welcome all the performers and build a sustainable development. Moreover, there are several interesting and exciting competitions, such as “The 5th HK Figure Design Competition”, “The 6th Comics New Star Competition”, “HK Dance Power Competition”, “HeartBeat ACG Pop”, “The Asia Pacific Cosplay Carnival and the ACG Cosplay Contest”, and so on.
